The National Board for Technical Education, NBTE, has granted full approval to the Polytechnic Iresi, Osun State, on a research work, Remote-controlled Lighting System using Radio Frequency.
The remarkable project is designed to perform the function of a multi-terminal, rechargeable, lightening system that uses low powered radio frequency technology for transmission and control. Interestingly, this was achieved by the higher citadel of learning, the Polytechnic Iresi.

The approval was contained in a letter sent to the Rector of the Institution, Engr Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE, with reference number C/TEB. 794/VOL.1/69 and signed by Dr. Zakari Abdullahi, Desk Officer Research and Development for the Executive Secretary of the Board.
The NBTE approval of the research works is the outcome of the receipt of the Polytechnic's letter submitted to the Board dated on the 14th of February, 2022 for the submission of the Exhibition of the just approved research work.
Therefore, with this recent achievement of the higher citadel of learning, it is noteworthy to state that Polytechnic Iresi is now on par with other Polytechnics in the world. In the same vein, the Institution can boast of creativity and innovations among her peers.
Consequently, The Rector, Engr. Kadiri, expressed profound appreciation to the NBTE for the approval.
